I participated together with my wife Valerica, who holds a PhD in medieval literature, at the London Book Fair from March 12-14, 2024. My book The Last Winter was exhibited at booth number 2C18 of The Maple Staple Bookstore , and enjoyed attention, especially among students, interested in knowing as much as possible about the transitional period of Romanian society from communism to democracy. I autographed books and took many photos with the visitors.
Both my wife and I enjoyed the warm hospitality of the entire staff at 2C18 of The Maple Staple Bookstore, who gave us access to all their facilities. I had a series of discussions regarding the future collaboration with Mr. Emmanuel Laguardia, Chief Operating Officer, and Mr. Kevin Miles, Senior VP Director-Endorsement, both from Bookside Press.
Ladies Leslee and Pearl, also helped us in interfacing with visitors interested in The Last Winter book.
We felt excellent and were treated with great care by the team of professionals at booth number 2C18 of The Maple Staple Bookstore. We would like to thank them and congratulate them on the professional way of participating in the literary event in London.
Am participat împreună cu soția mea Valerica, care deține un PhD în literatura medievală, la Târgul de Cărți de la Londra din perioada 12-14 Martie 2024. Cartea mea The Last Winter a fost expusă la standul 2C18 al The Maple Staple Bookstore şi s-a bucurat de atenție, mai ales in rândul studenților, interesați să știe cât mai multe lucruri despre perioada de tranziție a societății românești de la comunism la democrație. Am dat multe autografe pe cărți şi am făcut numeroase fotografii cu vizitatorii.
Atât eu cât şi soția mea ne-am bucurat de o caldă ospitalitate din partea echipei de la 2C18 a The Maple Staple Bookstore, care ne-au oferit acces la toate facilitățile lor.
Am avut o serie de discuții privind viitoarea colaborare cu domnul Emmanuel Laguardia, Chief Operating Officier, şi cu domnul Kevin Miles, Senior VP Director- Endorsement, amândoi de la Bookside Press.
Doamnele Leslee and Pearl ne-au ajutat de asemenea în interfața cu vizitatorii interesați de cartea „The Last Winter”.
Ne-am simțit excelent şi am fost tratați cu multă atenție de către echipa de profesioniști de la standul nr. 2C18 of The Maple Staple Bookstore. Pe această cale le mulțumim şi le transmitem felicitări privind modul profesionist de participare la evenimentul literar de la Londra.
